The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Each with minor surface wear and scratches; with light fritting to the edges and rubbing to the enamels and gilt decoration; further condition noted below.
A shaped rectangular soup tureen and cover; 14 in. (35.5 cm.) long; 83⁄4 in. wide, 9 in. high, overall -- overall good condition; some kiln grit to the interiors and footrim of the tureen.
Two shaped rectangular sauce tureens and covers; 7 in. (17.7 cm.) long, 43⁄4 in. wide, 41⁄4 in. high, overall -- one tureen with a T-shaped hairline crack to its underside; the other tureen with a section at the rim restored and with an approx. 2 in. vertical hairline crack extending from the rim at one corner, with rim chips above the ears of the mask handles.
Two shaped rectangular platters; 131⁄4 in. (33.7 cm.) long, 97⁄8 in. wide -- each in overall good condition.
A circular flat serving bowl; 111⁄8 in. (2982 cm.) diameter -- some scattered very shallow small chips to the rim; otherwise, good condition.
Two oval sauceboats; 8 in. (20.3 cm.) long, over handles, 41⁄4 in. wide -- each with small glaze losses to the handle and lower handle terminal, one with restoration to either side of its rim, to the handle and the area around the lower terminal.
Five dinner plates; 91⁄8 in. (23 cm.) diameter -- each with some scattered very shallow small chips to the rim; one plate with an approx. 2 in. vertical hairline crack extending from the rim and two shallow glaze chips to the reverse rim; one plate with a T-shaped hairline crack at its center.
Five soup plates; 9 in. (29.2 cm.) diameter -- each with some light chipping to the edges; some with shallow glaze chips, primarily to the reverse rim; one with a small restored chip to the reverse rim and a 31⁄2 in. long crescent-shaped area of overpaint to the reverse rim.
Four side plates; 63⁄4 in. (17.2 cm.) diameter -- some shallow glaze losses to the reverse rims; one with two very fine vertical hairline cracks extending from the rim.
