The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Each in overall good condition; with minor surface wear and scratches as to be expected; further condition noted below.
The baluster jars and covers; 83⁄8 in. high, without covers, approx. 41⁄2 in. wide -- one jar with a hairline crack extending vertically from its rim; one jar with a section of its neck restored; some light fritting to the highpoints of the jars and the cover rims.
The pair of flaring beaker vases; 91⁄2 in. high, 51⁄2 in. diameter -- slightly different in size; each with light fritting to the highpoints; the larger vase with a network of restored cracks to the flaring upper portion and with associated overpaint; the smaller vase with an approx. 2 in. long hairline extending vertically from the rim and with associated overpaint, with two very small rim restorations, probably touched-up chips, also with an indistinct blue inscription to the underside.
