The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Each with some surface wear and scratches as to be expected; with light rubbing to the enamels and gilt decoration; the cistern with its dragon crest off restored and possibly previously broken off, with associated overpaint; with minor glaze losses, including to the area surrounding the spigot and proper left eye of the mask-form spout; the cover overall with overpaint, likely covering restoration; the basin associated, with light fritting to the rim, overall with scattered areas of overpaint, mainly to one side of the basin between approx. 2 and 5 o'clock and to the underside of the center, likely covering restoration.
