The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The canvas has been relined. Frame abrasion along the extreme edges. Minor surface soiling throughout. There is a network of craquelure throughout. With an uneven varnish. Craquelure fill and some scattered small strokes of infill throughout, including to the sky and right edge. Please note that Christie's does not guarantee the condition of frames.
