The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Each with some overall light wear to the enamels and gilding, additional condition notes and dimensions listed below:
The first (43⁄4 in. high) - Its handle restuck.
The second (5.1.2 in. high) - With frits to the handle.
The third (41⁄2 high) - Overall good condition.
The fourth (41⁄8 in. high) - With a small filled chip to its handle, with a horitzontal hairline crack just above the lower rim with associated tiny spot of fill and vertical crack issuing up towards the eagle's rim.
The fifth (31⁄2 in. high) - Overall good condition, with minute frits.
The sixth (41⁄2 in. high) - With a small circular abrasion line to the interior rim.
The seventh (6 in. high) - With its handle repaired and associated yellowing overpaint and some wear to the green enamels.
The eighth (5 in. high) - With a small enamel loss to its handle and a tiny firing pit at the right of the handle.
