QIANLONG PERIOD (1736-1795)

The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The cover with a restored break to the scroll at one end, and a further restored break next to the scroll; four restored lines to the porcelain - two running next to the finial (approx. 3 in. and 2 in.), one to the rim just next to the flat edge (approx. ¹⁄₂ in.), and one to the rim near the scroll (approx. ¹⁄₂ in.). The tureen with a restored break to the curve at one side (approx. 1 in. long); there is a restored 1¹⁄₂ in. line to the left of the side without scroll; a 1¹⁄₂ in. restored line to the left of the scroll and a restored break to the right of the scroll (approx. 1¹⁄₂ in. wide); a few small restored rim chips and minor further touchups. The stand with a network of very faint lines to the porcelain at the well of the plate, several of them restored, the largest approx. 3 in. long. A few tiny restored chips to footrim.
