The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

With minor surface wear and scratches; very minor rubbing to the enamels; one cockerel with small touch-ups to its headcomb and wattle, its beak restored, the proper right foot with restoration to the toes, with a few shallow glaze chips to the highpoints, including to the handle and two to the tips of its tailfeathers; the other with some scattered glaze losses, primarily to its breast, with its beak and a circular patch of its breast restored, each foot with restoration, including to the middle talon of its proper right foot, the proper left foot with restoration to two talons.
