The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

One jug slightly shorter than the other; with minor surface wear and scratches; very minor rubbing to the enamels and gilt decoration; with minor fritting to the rims and handles; each with restoration to the end of the spout; one with some firing imperfection to the interior of the rim in the making; otherwise, in good condition.
