The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Each in overall good condition; minor surface wear to be expected; rubbing to the gilt decoration on the bell; one of the larger dogs lacking its proper right tooth, its other tooth restored, with restoration to its tail and back left foot, toes of its back right foot and its right foreleg; the other large dog slightly darker in color, with restoration to lower jaw and teeth, with further losses to its teeth, its tail with a restored Y-shaped crack and overpaint, small losses and fill to its toes; the smaller dog with a loss to the tip of its left tooth, scattered small nicks and touch-ups to the edges and restored through its left front paw.
