The Tibor Collection was formed over decades, growing to encompass every category of Chinese export porcelain, from small, charming teawares to massive pairs of important jars. The collector had a deep appreciation for the magnificent porcelains made for New Spain as well as for the lifelike charm and elegance of Chinese porcelain figure and animal models.

Each in overall good condition; with minor surface wear and scratches; some rubbing to the enamels; the crane with green-painted legs with some restoration and overpaint to both edges of its black tailfeather, and some other small painted elements to match; the other crane with minor touch-ups to the edges of its beak, with restoration to its red crest and to the proper left edge of its black tailfeather, with associated white overpaint, and with the green splashes on its base added. One crane has been painted to match.
