The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
Dish:
- a shallow chip and a few nicks to the mouth rim on the exterior
- a vertical scratch to the exterior
- some surface abrasion, wear and scratches
Qingbai box and cover:
- Both: some surface abrasion, wear and scratches
Cover:
- a consolidated Y shape hairline with associated overpainting, and a faint glaze line
Box:
- a few hairlines to the box
- a few small chips and glaze chips to the mouth, and a few nicks to the flange
Lamp:
- two short fine hairline extends upward from the foot rim
- glaze in some areas on the lower half are not very even
