We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- Scattered small areas of restorations and touch-ups, including to the headdress and sashes, one ear ornament, flaring part of armor on proper right arm, both hands, and face
- chipping or flaking of glaze to the circular ornament on the headdress, and the ornament has been restuck
- expected firing cracks original to manufacture
- a few small chips and nicks to the foot
- tiny holes on face suggest there might be mustache to the figure once
