The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
Large dish:
- a shallow chip and some light fritting to the mouth rim
- some light surface abrasion and scratches overall
- the foot appears to have been lightly polished with associated tiny chips to the foot rims
- some firing flaws, short firing cracks and light kiln grits to the underside of the base
Larger bowl:
- a few small chips to the mouth rim, some of which are filled, and one with an associated short hairline
- the interior and foot are quite worn
Smaller bowl:
- appears to be in overall good condition except the general surface wear
