The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
Larger vase with ring handles:
- a few shallow chips and fritting to the outer mouth rim, and there appears to be some coating or overpainting below the mouth
- a shallow chip to one ring and light fritting to both handles
- some surface wear and scratches
- a small shallow chips and nicks to foot, and the foot may have been slightly polished
smaller vase with ring handles:
- leans slightly
- a few small chips to the foot possibly caused by trimming
- otherwise in overall good condition
gu-form vase:
- a small shallow chip and a few nicks to the foot rim
faceted vase:
- a nick to the mouth rim
- a few short and unobtrusive glaze lines to the body
the fifth vase:
- the vase leans
- some scattered specks in the glaze
- the mouth rim appears to have been slightly buffed
