The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
Black hair lady:
- restored breaks to places such as neck, both arms and torso with associated overpainting
- small chips to a few fingers on the proper right hand, a crack between proper right hand and sleeve, and between both arms and torso
- a triangular restuck section to bottom
- 8 TL test drilled holes to base
- Expected loss to pigments, chips and nicks to the edges
The other lady:
- Restoration to hair, restored break to neck
- a drilled hole to the back
- a restuck section to base which includes the proper left foot, some losses to base
- Expected loss to pigments, chips and nicks to the edges
