The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
One incense stick holder:
- restoration to one ear, tail, and to parts of the stand
- leans slightly
the other stick holder:
- a burn mark and a few negligible nicks to foot
- a kiln grit to top of stand
- otherwise in overall good condition
both stick holders: a few firing cracks characteristics for works of this type
Elephant:
- There appears to restoration to ears, tail and legs and perhaps the body as well, and the whole is covered with a coating
- a nick to proper left rear foot
seated figure:
- appears to be in overall good condition
toad:
-appears to be in overall good condition
Qilin:
- restoration to one strand of beard, a few spines, tail, and some touch-up to mouth
- a few firing cracks typical for works of this type
