The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
Cups:
- the lower body may have been recarved
-the black areas might have been refreshed and age cracks stabilized
- expected tarnishing and small dents to the metal liners
- one liner has a minor crack at the mouth
Stand:
- both with sections restoration to mouth rim
One: an area of loss to the interior, and another small area of loss to the mouth rim
All: -A few expected age cracks, tiny nicks to raised edges, and overall wear
