The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
All: appear to be in overall good condition, with some expected light surface wear and a few negligible firing flaws such as firing crack or other irregularities
larger censer:
- a firing crack with branch encircling one handle
- four spur marks to the interior and some light fritting to mouth rim original to manufacture
smaller censer: - minor glaze gaps to where the body meets the foot
water dropper: may original had a cover/stopper, with a tiny glaze nick near opening
