The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Garlic mouth vase:
-leans slightly
- some minor glaze chips and irregularities to the mouth rim
- a few short firing cracks to the body and one that runs along the foot on the underside
- the foot has been polished
Vase with applied decoration:
- a hairline crack to the neck approx.5 cm.
- characteristic firing cracks and glaze gaps to where the applied decoration joins the vase
- restoration to one handle
- foot is quite rough, with possibly light polishing in some areas
