A 'MOSS AGATE' BOTTLE
OFFICIAL SCHOOL, 18TH/19TH CENTURY
The well-hollowed bottle is of rounded, rectangular form on an oval foot rim. The taupe stone is suffused with dense, moss-like, greenish-blue and white inclusions and carved at the shoulders with mask and ring handles.
