A RED-OVERLAY BUBBLE-SUFFUSED GLASS BOTTLE
18TH/19TH CENTURY
The bottle is of slightly compressed, rounded form on an oval footrim and carved through the semi-transparent ruby-red overlay to the bubble-suffused ground with two magpies perched in prunus trees. The narrow sides are carved with mask and ring handles.
2 3/8 in. (6 cm.) high, glass stopper
