A RED-OVERLAY BUBBLE-SUFFUSED GLASS BOTTLE
LATE 18TH/EARLY 19TH CENTURY
The ovoid bottle is carved through the ruby-red overlay to the 'snowstorm' bubble-suffused, clear ground with a continuous scene of two magpies perched in blossoming branches of prunus, near a rocky ledge with pine and bamboo.
2¼ in. (6 cm.) high, jadeite stopper
