THREE HARDSTONE BOTTLES
19TH/EARLY 20TH CENTURY
The first is a banded agate bottle of rounded, tapering form on an oval foot. The reddish-purple and white stone has concentric 'thumbprint' markings. The second is of flattened ovoid form and carved from mottled green, blue and grey-veined stone. The third is a quartz conglomerate bottle of rounded-rectangular form on an oval footrim. The stone has light green and jasper-brown markings.
