THREE HARDSTONE BOTTLES
19TH/EARLY 20TH CENTURY
The first is a rock crystal bottle of rectangular form with a cylindrical neck and paneled sides. The stone has clear tone with slight, silvery inclusions. The second is a rose quartz bottle of baluster form on an oval footrim and carved with a magpie perched on a blossoming prunus branch growing from a rocky outcrop, the reserve with another bird alighting on a floral spray. The third is an agate bottle of rounded form and carved with two elephants and with mask handles at the shoulders.
