THREE METAL BOTTLES
19TH/EARLY 20TH CENTURY
The first is a bronze bottle of flattened and tapering rectangular form, cast on each side with a panel of scholars in a garden pavilion. The second is a cylindrical silvered-metal bottle on a circular footrim, decorated in filigree and enamels with a shou medallion and four bats on a scrolling floral ground. The third is a silver-inlaid iron niello bottle of flattened, rectangular form on an oval foot, decorated with a procession of figures, horses and a cart between diaper bands.
