The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture. The first: there are numerous small chips to the outer mouth rim and minute nicks to the inner mouth rim. There is an old scratch on the mouth. There are two flaws in the foot, which are inherent to manufacture. There are areas of pitting in the surface. The second: There is a horizontal crack in the lower bulb of the bottle. There are minute nicks and chips to the inner mouth rim. There are polished nicks and areas of polishing to the outer mouth rim. There are areas of surface abrasion near the foot and on the body of the bottle. There are minute burst bubbles on the surface. The third: There is a large shallow chip on the neck and minute nicks on the outer and inner mouth rims. The foot rim has been polished. There are some surface scratches to the body.
