The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture. The first bottle has a small knock to the narrow side of the foot with associated cracks that extend into the body and to the foot. There is a short crack down one narrow side near the metal collar. There are minute nicks to the foot rim. There are natural inclusions and pitting in the stone. There appears to be a restored minor chip to the foot. The second bottle has minute nicks to the inner mouth rim and slight abrasion to the mouth.
