TWO AGATE BOTTLES
18TH/19TH CENTURY
The first bottle is of flattened, rounded form on an oval, flat foot and carved from stone of pale grey tone with dark-brown markings on one side and paler, honey-toned inclusions on the other. The second bottle is of rounded square form on an oval, flat foot and carved from a pale taupe-gray stone suffused with cloudy-white striations.
2 3/16 and 2 in. (5.6 and 6 cm.) high, jasper stopper, coral stopper with turquoise finial (2)
