TWO CARVED RED LACQUER BOTTLES
19TH CENTURY
The first bottle is of flattened, rounded form on an oval footrim and carved in relief with the Eight Immortals seated beneath pine trees in a mountainous landscape. The second bottle is of flattened, tapering ovoid form on an oval foot and carved with a continuous scene of figures in a boat and at leisure in a lakeside pavilion.
2 5/8 and 2 3/8 in. (6.5 and 6 cm.) high, malachite and jadeite stoppers (2)
