TWO MONGOLIAN EMBELLISHED JADE-INSET SILVER BOTTLES
19TH/EARLY 20TH CENTURY
The first is of rounded form on a high metal footrim, inset on either side with white jade panels set with malachite cabachons. The narrow silver sides adn foot are embellished with coral and turquoise. The second is of flattened, baluster form on a rectangular footrim, the filigree metal body enameled and studded with coral and turquoise. Either side is inset with a jade circular plaque carved and pierced with birds amongst foliage.
3 1/8, 3 3/8 in. (8, 8.5 cm.) high, metal and jadeite stoppers (2)
