The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture. The gilding has been rubbed on the first bottle including on the mouthrim and on the decoration. There are chips to the footrim, which has been polished. The cream-colored glazed bottle has a small glaze flake to the inner mouthrim and a small glaze chip to the exterior mouthrim. There are several chips to the foot and a vertical crack in the body which may be inherent to its manufacture.
