The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged at the upper corners and center upper edge to the backing board and undulates slightly. Staple holes and faint accretions are to the corners, both presumably vestiges of the artist's working method. Pinpoint accretions are visible intermittently to the edges and a very small passage of faint accretions is left of center. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
