The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged at the corners to the backing board and undulates slightly. The upper edge of the sheet is perforated and associated tears and paper losses are to the upper corners. Creases are to the corners. The paper has shifted slightly in tone, primarily at the edges. Tidelines are faintly visible along the edges, presumably related to the nature of the found support. A paper accretion is in the upper left quadrant. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
