Lot Essay

Launched at Basel World in 1998, the DualTow Tourbillon took the show by storm with its imposing size, exposed chronograph architecture and complications never seen before on a wristwatch. The unique time is displayed via rubber belts that are in constant motion, and even has its own independent tensioning system.  With 568 components and 65 jewels, the oversized caliber CC20A, utilizes twin barrels and chiming on activation, stop and reset for the single pusher planetary geared chronograph. This visual symphony on the wrist is rounded out by an oversized tourbillon regulator.
