Lot Essay

Often seen on the wrist of Prince Charles, the present Parmigiani Toric Chronograph is an exquisite example of fine modern watchmaking. The Nurhling bezel is one of Parmigiani Fleurier’s most iconic designs where they hand crank the entire track of the bezel on a machine only made and owned for Parmigiani Fleurier timepieces.

Parmigiani Fleurier began in 1996 and was founded by Michel Parmigiani in the town of Fleurier, Switzerland. Since 1996, Parmigiani has been making all in-house timepieces and is known for its high quality and uniqueness. Representing the daring creativity of the Parmigiani Fleurier manufacture, the Toric is a superb example of their innovative design.
