The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The walnut element has an abrasion in the upper left and at the center of the lower edge. There are drip marks intermittently. There are white paint deposits in places, presumably consistent with the artist's working method.

The oil on linen element has wear around the edges, with associated losses. There is a puncture in the upper right corner. There is an indented abrasion in the center left of the lower edge, with associated inpainting. There is soiling evident in the center of the lower edge.
