Mount: general scratching and nicking to mounts particularly to silver front, wear to claw tips, some tiny splits to gallery joining points, gold backing visible in places not covered by rhodium plating, evidence of solder repair to reverse of mount for central diamond, later brooch fitting, pin detachable, catch secured with glue
Cultured pearl: slightly greyish cream, some pinkish overtones, medium lustre, some typical surface blemishes, slightly hammered effect in places
