The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Turtle:
Diamonds, range predominantly yellowish in color (not tested for origin of color) to J/K, VS-SI clarity
Sapphires with typical inclusions, well-matched
Opal, some light scratches and minor nicks, nice play-of-color, translucent
Eyes of the turtle are not diamonds, they are a pale blue faceted transparent gem
Second brooch:
Diamonds, bright and lively
Opal, white bodycolor, opaque, play-of-color not evenly distributed
Mountings show signs of normal wear
The two opal and diamond brooches are overall in very good condition
