The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
La Rue -- the canvas is not lined. Minor frame abrasions to the extreme edges. Minor surface soiling. A few short abrasions with associated pigment loss at center left. A small puncture with associated pigment loss in the upper right quadrant. Examined under ultraviolet light. The canvas presents with an uneven varnish. Inpainting to the lower corners and lower edge.
The beachscapes -- supports are stable. Frame abrasions to the extreme edges. Minor surface soiling. A few fine lines of craquelure. Examined under ultraviolet light. The first with a small area of inpainting to the upper left corner. The second with strokes of inpainting to the sand.
