Lot Essay

Born and raised in Lima, Peru, one of Ariana Alayza Saettone’s first encounters with art was through her mother’s prints of Marc Chagall’s paintings. These embodied what art has always meant to her: a source of both inspiration and nostalgia. She is currently a social anthropology student in London and is interested in understanding the distinct aspects of the human experience, particularly through the production of art.
