Lot Essay

Mira El-Khalil has established herself as an emerging artist and is found in notable private collections across the Middle East and Europe including The Mokbel Art Collection founded by Johnny and Nadine Mokbel. She has been featured in several publications and has received awards for her achievements in painting. A student of the painting school Fabriano, her first solo exhibition 'MAWJA' was in 2019. Her second solo exhibition 'HOSN' was during London Frieze Week, 2022. El-Khalil has appeared in several group exhibitions across the city of Beirut, alongside established artists such as Paul Guiragossian, Jean-Marc Nahhas, and Tom Young.
