Lot Essay

Nikki Knewstub took a Fine Arts degree from Falmouth University after spending her professional life as a national newspaper journalist. She works across printmaking, particularly woodcut, intaglio and aquatint, often using carborundum and Chine Collé. She is interested in what lies beneath the surface, how an image can be represented to skewer what we see.
