Sophie Underwood is a Christie’s apprentice with a passion for art and enjoys working with the mediums oil, acrylic, graphite and biro. This painting is inspired by a digital artwork created for her A* A-Level Art project called ‘Human and Nature’. In ‘Squawk With Me’, the artist aims to show the similarities between femininity and birds in physical appearance, behaviour and emotional responses.
