The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The pile is thick and full throughout with a good lustre. There is light overall surface dirt and a few small stains which should lift with a clean. The selvages are both original and secure. The ends have original striped kilims and braided fringes and are secure. Overall this rug is in very good condition.
