The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The pile is thick and full throughout with a good lustre and well-saturated colours. The selvages are both original and secure. One end has the short original kilim end finish and the other has the short original kilim and fringes, both are secure. Overall this rug is in very good condition.
