The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The board is approximately 1/8 inch thick. The paint is stable. An approximately ½ inch label is affixed on the front of the panel in the lower left corner. Under natural light, a few small areas of craquelure are visible along the back of the frame. Under ultraviolet light, an approximate ½ inch line of strengthening is visible in the sky along the extreme left edge, approximately 4 inches form the upper edge. There are scattered touches of strengthening in the costume and landscape. The painting is in ready to hang condition.
