Rebecca's Pick
Patek Philippe introduced the reference 5004 in 1994 and it was in production until 2009. It was offered in yellow gold, white gold, pink gold, and platinum, as well as a small limited series in steel. The reference 5004 is similar to the reference 3970 perpetual calendar chronograph. However, the reference 5004 adds the highly complex split-seconds function and is easily recognizable by its oversized pusher in the crown to activate the split-seconds function. The reference 5004 is part of the legendary family of perpetual chronographs that started with the reference 1518, followed by the reference 2499.
