Lot Essay
The asymmetric dial layout of the Glashutte Original Senator perpetual calendar recalls that of the Lange 1 and is striking and beautiful. At first glance, one may not recognize that this watch is a perpetual calendar. There is an indication on the dial that tells the wearer the actual year, however there is the small dot just below the Glashutte Original signature. This dot has four different colors that indicate leap year (red), first year (yellow), second year (black), and third year (white).
