The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The case is in good condition with light scratches throughout. The case has been polished. The case number between the 6 o'clock lugs is visible. The top pusher's steel casing is slightly corroded. The crown is a later replacement. The case back has scratches throughout. The inside of the case back has watchmaker's marks. The dial and hands are in good condition and appear to be original. The hands and hour markers have developed patina. The luminous plots at the hour markers have all darkened to a black-ish color. The luminous material in the hands has darkened and has a small hole in the minute hand. The dial has black marks around its edge between 11 and 1 o'clock and 4 and 8 o'clock. There are some loose hairs on the dial. The buckle is a modern buckle in good condition. The chronograph function is working at the time of cataloguing. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
