The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The case has light scratches throughout. The gold plating is worn around the case. The case has developed a light patina. The case appears to have been polished. The numbers are faintly visible between the 6 o'clock lugs and the script faintly visible between the 12 o'clock lugs. The crown shows signs of wear with small nicks. The back of the lugs show signs of wear with scratches. The case back is stainless steel and has scratches. The inside of the case back has watchmaker's marks. The hands appear to be re-lumed. The hands have developed patina and have scratches. The hour markers have developed patina. The luminous material in the hands has darkened with age and is mostly lost in the minute hand. The luminous plots at the hour markers have all deteriorated and appears black. The dial has intermittent scratches and slight signs of wear. The chronograph function is working at the time of cataloguing. The movement is in working order at the time of cataloging, consistent with the age of the watch. The movement has not been tested for accuracy. A service is recommended given the age of the watch.
